Detail of a large porcelain figure where a section of the female's lower right leg had been repaired. Hoping for a beter alignment and colour matching, the owner handed it in for re-restoration.

 

Once the surface and breakes had been cleaned with direct steam, an acrylic copolimer was used to bond the pieces together. The fill was made with the same material with added marble dust for a similar finish.
