Conservation and restoration of ceramics often include processes like cleaning airlines and old breaks, reversing discoloured and weak restorations, bonding of sections, filling losses and retouching fills. Having done this for many years, I am often asked similar questions based on general misunderstanding of the profession or of the materials and techniques I use.
